What will we explore?: We will gain a holistic understanding of where your organization is in its DEI journey. Rooted in Equity’s assessment includes focus groups, interviews, and a staff sentiment survey to understand the experiences of your staff directly from them. Following analysis, the assessment results are delivered in a final report and presentation that summarizes the feedback and insights.

Communications Series

What will we explore?: This series supports leaders in building their collective capacity by exploring their current approach to communication, defining communication best practices, and addressing common communication pitfalls. Content emphasizes the importance of authentic, timely, transparent, and inclusive communication and how that approach can foster trust and meaningful engagement.

Generative Conflict Series

What will we explore?: This series explores the concept of Generative Conflict, a constructive conflict practice. Generative Conflict encourages individuals with different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to openly share their viewpoints, challenge existing norms, and collaboratively seek innovative solutions with the goal of fostering awareness, learning, capacity building, and positive change.

White Racial Identity Development Series

Who is this for?: Senior Leaders, People Managers, All Staff

What will we explore?: Racial identity development, which refers to the belief systems that evolve within people of the same racial identity as a result of society’s messages about race. This series provides white staff a chance to explore what it means to have been socialized as white in American society with a white facilitator. 

This series creates space for white people to deepen their self-awareness about race in general and whiteness in particular. When white people better understand both, it allows them to better understand their role in creating an equitable and inclusive work environment and to work on multiracial teams.

DEI & Board Self Assessment

Who is this for?:  Board of Directors

What will we explore?: We will gain a holistic understanding of the current culture of your Board, including but not limited to DEI. A self assessment process allows trustees to reflect on their work as part of the Board individually and as a collective, Rooted in Equity delivers a report of the findings and facilitates a workshop that allows trustees the opportunity to discuss the results of the self assessment together and begin initial planning about where to prioritize its efforts moving forward.

Executive Coaching*

Who is this for?: Senior Leaders, People Managers

What will we explore?: We will build on group learnings by focusing on an individual’s role within the organization. Coaching supports leaders in their growth and builds capacity to navigate the complexities of supporting equitable inclusive, and antiracist policies and practices by offering focused thought partnership.
