We understand that every organization uses different terms to describe leadership levels. Below are the terms we use and what we mean by them.

Senior Leaders

Top-level executives within an organization, such as Executive Directors, CEOs, COOs, or Presidents; those responsible for setting the strategic vision, making critical decisions, and guiding the overall direction of the organization.

People Managers

Individuals who manage and lead teams or departments within an organization, responsible for employee development, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.

Board of Directors

A group of individuals chosen to provide oversight, governance, and strategic guidance to the organization, ensuring it operates in the best interest of community stakeholders as a public trust.

Full Staff

All employees in an organization, regardless of role, collectively responsible for accomplishing tasks and contributing to the achievement of the organization's goals.
