White Racial Identity Development Series

What will we explore?: A deep dive into Racial identity development, which refers to the belief systems that evolve within people of the same racial identity as a result of society’s messages about race. This series provides white staff a chance to explore what it means to have been socialized as white in American society with a white facilitator. 

This series creates space for white people to deepen their self-awareness about race in general and whiteness in particular. When white people better understand both, it allows them to better understand their role in creating an equitable and inclusive work environment and to work on multiracial teams.
